Football and my Foot

I'm trying to find the silver lining in a very annoying situation. Being that I'm fairly superstitious, I'm also trying to look for a sign for the Spartan football team. Here it goes. My senior year of college I broke my foot in October. MSU had a great football season that year. I remember a football season full of me hobbling around at all the tailgate parties wearing my big walking cast. We ended up only losing 1 game (I think) and went on to defeat Florida in the Citrus Bowl.

Flash-forward to October of 2011. I walk (or fall) off my front porch and break the same foot in a different spot. This time it has been MUCH more painful. I was on crutches for 10 days and will be in the boot for 4-6 weeks with no exercise for 8-10. It's been 2 1/2 weeks and it's still purple. However, the Spartans are kicking ass on the football field. I think it all comes down to my foot. Let's just hope we can make a Rose Bowl appearance this year and it might just make this whole foot trouble worth it (probably not because this has been REALLY bad), but I'm just trying to look for a silver lining.

OH no, I'm sorry about your foot...but that is crazy about your foot and Spartan football. SO are you coming out here IF we go to the Rosebowl?!!! :) Feel better soon!

Oh Beck - so sorry about your foot. I would be willing to hobble around too for a Vols victory but I feel that would not help our pitiful team.
