Random Happenings

Brandy and I in the limo on the way to the Kid Rock concert. That was fun, at least what I remember of it =-)

It's winter and things are boring so I thought I'd just post a couple of random things. Ben and I went skiing last weekend. We did pretty well but I wasn't brave enough to bring a camera on the slope for fear of falling and breaking it or myself. We stayed at Boyne without the kids. It was a very nice and peaceful weekend.

I didn't post a picture of Sawyer but he did say something very funny this week. Here's the conversation.

Me: "Sawyer get dressed right now" (as he's jumping on my bed naked).

Sawyer: "Mom, why do I need nipples" (as he is pressing his nipples).

Me: "You don't" (in a frustrated tone).

Sawyer: "Yes I DO! They make me run fast" (in an exasperated tone).

I had to crack up at that one!!

Ice Skating

My parents made a skating rink on the lake in their backyard. Audrey has picked it up fairly quickly. She loves it and is now taking lessons. The lessons are at Compuware and the Whaler's team players help out. It is really fun to watch. As for Sawyer, we haven't bought him skates yet. He's just as happy running around on the train tracks that Papa plows for him on the ice. He also likes getting pulled on the sled and pushed around in the chair. Lots of work for the adults but lots of fun for the 3 year old!
