WOW...I'm Bad!

Here's what you've missed....
Our spunky little negotiator turned four. He still is energetic and loves to be the boss!Preschool is going very well for him and his teacher says he listens great and is a leader in the class. Music to my ears.
Sawyer started "hockey" class. It's really called Learn to Skate but I call it hockey because it sounds cooler. This is him on his first day. It's funny because they just put the skates on them and throw them out there. They all figure it out though. He told me he fell 69 times in his first class but only 7 times during his second. He can now make it around the whole rink with relative ease. It may be slow but he's improving. Not sure we have the next Stevie Yzerman on our hands but as long as he has fun that's all that matters.
Annual trip to chop down the tree. It looks smaller outside than it did in our house.
We took a trip to Stevensville to celebrate Christmas the week before. Everyone had a great time.
Highlights from Christmas morning. Sawyer's into Star Wars. I'm clueless when it comes to that.Audrey got Ruthie, Kit's friend. Notice Kit is wearing a flower girl dress. Uncle Ryan and Uncle Justin asked her to be their flower girl. She is SUPER excited about that!

We had a crazy NYE party that was supposed to be low key but went on until 4 am. It hurt the next day but oh well, you only live once.
Other than that, we've stayed busy doing a whole lot of random stuff. We haven't had one significant snow fall, which I love. The kids are mad because they haven't been able to sled down our hill even once. We made it through the whole month of January without shoveling! We've had a few days in January in the 50s and spent time outside. I'm a little scared as to what February has in store for us.

We met Em, Rod and Carraig at Great Wolf Lodge for some January swimming and water slides. I was just happy we escaped the germ cease pool relatively unharmed. It was great to see them and I love watching the cousins together.

We are headed up to Boyne next weekend for our first family ski trip. I enrolled the kids in a morning lesson. Not sure if I can handle teaching the dictator (aka Sawyer) how to ski. We'll let a professional handle him for the first couple hours.

Audrey got her second report card of the year and she is doing great. She was so happy to hear that she tested at a third grade reading level. I didn't want to make her ego any bigger by telling her that's where the DRA test that they give stops. She's probably more around a mid fourth. She is one studious little thing.

Hopefully I'll get on here again before the spring. I'm not making any promises though.
