I just needed to record this conversation for myself for the memory books:
Me: "Sawyer, do you have a fever?"
Sawyer: "Cabin fever"
Audrey: "Cat scratch fever"
Turned out he didn't have a fever, just an interesting conversation.
Since I'm so busy, this blog acts as my baby book and scrapbook. As time flies by, I want to document all the little things in life.

Weekend Trip Up North
Brad's parents were gracious enough to let us stay at their cottage in Pentwater last weekend. It was great to get away for a couple days. The kids had tons of fun sledding and playing in the snow. The highlight of the trip for Audrey and Tyler was getting to share a bedroom. They act like teenagers, trying to stay up as late as their little bodies will allow. Sawyer still got stuck sleeping in the pack and play in the bathroom. He wasn't happy about that. And since we all know about his climbing escapades, much baby proofing had to be done (such as using a lock for the toilet and removing just about everything from the bathroom that wasn't nailed or cemented down). The highlight of the trip for the adults was when the kids actually went to sleep and we got to hang out, drink beer, eat too much, play games and watch a pretty lame opening ceremony for the Olympics. Canadians are weird. On that note, now that we've gotten our snowy up north trip in and enough sledding to hold us over until next year, I think it's time for spring!!

Early Febuary
Audrey and Elle were best friends within minutes of meeting each other. I love how 4 year olds work!
Super Bowl Sunday...and no they are not watching the game. They prefer Alvin and the Chipmunks.
We spent last weekend in Stevensville for Emily's baby shower. The baby is due March 18th so we will be having our first nephew arrive very soon! Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the mother to be, and for that Emily is probably thankful. Although she does look great at 34 weeks preggo but nobody likes to have their picture taken at that point. Audrey and Elle pretty much stole the show with their Fancy Nancy accessories and their high level of cuteness factor. We had a great time at the shower and Emily got lots of necessities for Baby Eddy!
On Sunday we went to the Ward's with some of our neighbors to watch the Superbowl. We let the kids stay in the other room and watch Alvin. At least we got a few moments of peace during that time. We ate a ton of great traditional Superbowl food and probably gained 5 pounds. The Puerto Vallarta Diet starts today. In 73 days our bodies need to be bathing suit ready, this may be easier for some than others...I'm not naming any names.
