Future Ball Player?

Well, not likely, at least from Audrey. She started T-ball this spring and is having fun. I don't think she's the most coordinated Tiger on the team but she is always excited to go play so that's what's important. Her two favorite parts about T-ball are the snack at the end and yelling out their team cheer, "Tigers are you READY?"

At her first game she hit the ball twice and made it around all the bases. Hitting is the easy part. Catching, throwing and playing in the field are a whole different story. Her first time in the outfield she played shortstop, don't ask me why she got picked for that position. The coach on the other team started yelling for the runner on 2nd to run to 3rd. Audrey thought he was talking to her so she proceeded to run the bases, she even ran home! I'm sure there will be more humorous stories regarding T-ball to come!

Dance Recital

Unruly Green Girls!
Tyler came to watch!
Audrey had her dance recital on Saturday and Sunday. They did Land of 1000 Dances. It was too cute. I was a little worried about Audrey since she is on the younger side of the class, and trust me, one year makes a big difference! She didn't do very well at the dress rehearsals. She was too distracted by the props on the stage and she kept going in the wrong spot. When it came to the big show she did pretty good and had a HUGE smile.

On Sunday my friend Stephanie and I were stage moms. We had to control 14 four to six year old girls. They were super geeked due to the make up, ratted hair, and leopard print costumes. The teenagers in all of them came out in full force. Needless to say, I paid my dues, I will not be the stage mom next year. It's someone else's turn!

Happy Birthday Audrey!

Audrey on her 4th birthday.
Audrey on her 5th birthday.

5 years ago today my life changed forever. There were so many changes...moving, quiting work and most importantly, having Audrey. It's hard to imagine the time would go by so quickly. I can't even remember my old life. I'm so happy to have Audrey as my daughter and I love watching her grow!

Cousins

Audrey and Sawyer finally had a chance to meet their cousin, Carraig, last weekend. Em and Rod got settled into their new place in Cleveland so they were ready for us to come visit. It was so fun to snuggle with a new baby, one that doesn't talk back!! Audrey loved holding him. Sawyer was mildly interested, which was better than I thought he'd be. It was great to meet Carraig! He's such a cute baby and we are so happy for Emily and Rodney!

Caught Ya!

This is what Sawyer likes to do after his nap. He climbs up his chair and onto his dresser to count his money. It used to scare me but I've grown accustomed to it.

Farm Day Fun

Notice the giant llama head behind Sawyer and Tyler. That's our house in the far distance behind the llama. I think it's funny how the llama looks like King Kong compared to our house.

It's been a while so I thought I'd post some current pictures of the kids. Both are from neighborhood kids' birthday parties. The first 3 were at Kensington Farm and the second 2 were at my friend's house. She hired a petting farm to come to her house. It was pretty cute!

We got back from Mexico on Thursday. It was a great and relaxing trip. The kids had fun with their grandparents and went on many adventures. Unfortunately, Ben and I forgot our camera so we had to use a disposable (who even knew they made those anymore). I will scan some of those when I get them back. I can't guarantee the quality.
