Sawyer's Best Day

According to Sawyer I was the best mom ever after the day he had on Friday. See below to find out why.Sawyer got to spray the fire hose....

drive the big fire engine.....

ride in the passenger side of the engine and check out the walkie talkies (a new found interest)...
stand on the fire engine...
feed a baby donkey about 10 carrots....
hold a baby goat that was roaming around (gross)....
and finish the day off with a long play in the sand box.

The morning started at the fire station with our neighborhood playgroup. You all know Sawyer's interest in emergency vehicles. We then went to the farm for his preschool field trip. You all know his even bigger fascination with farm equipment. Not pictured is his ride on the tractor. By that point of the trip I was just concentrating on keeping my lunch down. You also all know about my extremely sensitive sense of smell. It was 87 degrees and VERY smelly on the farm.

Sawyer had a blast and it was great to get to spend the whole day with just him!
