The Latest and Greatest

This week I took the kids to the dr. for their check ups, Audrey's 4 year and Sawyer's 18 month. Sawyer did a little better than at 15 month, only crying when he got weighed. Audrey took her DTP vaccine like a champ and didn't even cry. Sawyer's 33 1/4 inches and 25 lbs. and Audrey is 40 inches and 36 lbs. She's really slowed down and Sawyer's keeping up a steady pace.

Sawyer loves riding his truck. You can see from the video that he is super fast. Ben and I think he looks like a crab if you watch his legs. Sometimes he goes so fast when he turns a corner that it goes up on two wheels, sometimes he tips over but he never cries about it, which is a little worrisome to me. Where's the pain response?? Other news on Sawyer - he's going through a picky eating phase, which is highly annoying. He used to eat everything on his plate, now he's demanding bacon and nuggets and I have to bribe him to eat fruits and vegetables with icy pops. It works though.

Audrey is still the dramatic, actress of the family. I'll set up the scene in the video clip - Many of you probably remember the opening scene to Annie, where she's sitting in the window seat singing "Maybe", well, Audrey loves to sit under Ben's bathroom vanity cupboards and make a window seat so she can be just like Annie. She even tries to get the mood of the song write, not sure about the key, but she's trying.

Another note on Audrey for the record books - We went to the mall on Thursday and she picked a used cup out of the trash at Payless and took a drink out of it. I was so disgusted. I couldn't believe she did it. She said it tasted like bananas!! GROSS!

Congrats to Sawyer on his checkup- sorry to hear about the bacon/nugget combo.

I haven't seen Annie in 20+ years but Audrey looks like a star in the making, but do you not feed her? Why is she eating Payless Trash Shakes? Yikes.
