Last week Audrey had VIP night at preschool. VIP night is when you get to bring guests to school who don't usually get to visit. I am there all the time so I was the lucky one to stay with Sawyer while Ben and my parents headed off for 2 hours of preschool fun. Audrey was very excited to show Daddy and Grandma and Papa around her school. They ate dinner at school, pizza and salad. Ben said Audrey was one of the only preschoolers to eat the salad. My dad said after that they did a different activity every 10 minutes. That's what it takes to keep a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds entertained. In the pictures you can see Audrey doing one of her favorite preschool things, dressing up in the crazy dress up clothes they have there. About once a month the clothes disappear due to a lice scare in one of the classes. Then after being thoroughly fumigated, they return. I try to discourage the dress up clothes but I just can't keep her away from them.
Sawyer was being mildly cooperative the other day and I captured him saying some of his words. He probably has about 20 or so now. Many of them are in his own, made up language but Audrey and I can understand him. Other than his new vocab development there isn't much else to report. Still eats good, doesn't nap good (actually he's screaming upstairs as I type), sleeps great at night, climbs and is VERY stubborn. Lately he only wants to play outside and is getting harder and harder to entertain in the house. Too bad for me that it snowed last night!

Love Sawyer showing his eyes and mouth. Too cute. He speaks very clearly.
Cute video of Sawyer! Looks like he might listen to Audrey more than he does his mom!
Well done Sawyer! I'm super impressed with his vocab, almost as good as Audrey's baby whispering.
