For the obvious reasons, today was a GOOD day. Featured above is Miss Audrey getting ready to watch the inaugural festivities. She had to bring all of her "babies" down from her bed to watch too, yes, she sleeps with all those animals. Good thing she has a double bed. I had to pump up the inauguration so she would think it was exciting and not want to watch Sesame Street instead. I think I did a good job. I managed to have the TV on ABC from 8:00-1:00.... never happened before and will never happen again. Also included in the inaugural events were a big bowl of ice cream and many goldfish crackers for snacks. At the end she asked if Barack Obama was going to come to our house like Santa.....who knows where that came from???? I guess she thinks he's a pretty cool guy because in her eyes Santa is #1.

That's so weird I watched the inaugural with my stuffed animals too! She'll thank you for persuading her to watch that one day.
